FS25 Riverbend Springs August 2024 preview

Posted on August 2, 2024 by Sim Farmer Jim

Giants Software released more information and photose on the American Map, Riverbend Springs for Farming Simulator 25 that is set to release in November 2024.

Riverbend Springs in Farming Simulator 25 is aptly named for its vast, winding river and numerous creeks and streams. The area features a ferry for river crossings and includes various water-centric elements like piers, jetties, houseboats, and floating restaurants, emphasizing its celebration of water. Senior level designer Florian Busse highlighted this focus at FarmCon, making it a fitting setting for new water physics and the addition of rice cultivation.

The scenic landscape of Riverbend Springs showcases lush agricultural fields, dense tree lines, and a prominent water tower, all under a dynamic, partially cloudy sky. The water tower, marked with “Riverbend Springs” and adorned with patriotic colors, stands as a testament to the community’s reliance on water resources. The surrounding autumnal foliage and expansive fields enhance the rural charm of the area.

The serene forest area in Riverbend Springs features a rich underbrush of shrubs and grasses, with tall trees filtering sunlight through their canopies, creating an ethereal morning atmosphere. This tranquil setting invites exploration and captures the natural beauty of the forested regions.

The Grain Elevator Museum in Riverbend Springs seems to be a significant feature, possibly requiring completion similar to the Roller Coaster or Wooden Collectible Museum in Silver Run Forest from Farming Simulator 22. Similarly, the playground may be another community project needing completion.

The river is a major focus in Riverbend Springs, potentially linking the grain terminal on the river with the main grain terminal connected to the rail, suggesting additional sell points accessible via both the river and railroad. Giants Software hinted at usable waterways during FarmCon 24, though details remain sparse.

Riverbend Springs also features various appealing spots, including construction sites and businesses ready to buy your goods. The possibility of NPC interactions and scenic locations like Sunset Sunflower Farms suggest a rich and engaging environment for players.

Historic buildings in Riverbend Springs include an old grain elevator, a paper mill by the river, and century-old brick structures. Other notable sites include a rope maker, wagon builder, and cement factory, adding to the town’s historical and industrial charm.

Farming Simulator 25 is set for release on November 12th, 2024. Sneak Peek into Farming Simulator 25: Exciting Previews from Giants Software

Hey everyone,

Farmer Jim here! As we all eagerly await more information about Farming Simulator 25, I’m thrilled to share some exclusive sneak peeks that Giants Software has given their partners. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend FarmCon 24 this year, as it’s a bit too far for me. But fear not! I’ve got some exciting details to share with you all.

Exclusive Preview at FarmCon 24

Giants Software has shared some incredible previews of what’s to come in Farming Simulator 25, which will be showcased at FarmCon 24 this weekend. Let’s dive into the highlights!

Scenic Long Ride:
Here’s a clip of a long ride through some of the stunning scenery we’ll get to explore come November. The attention to detail in the landscape is truly remarkable.

Key Locations:
We have another clip showcasing key locations such as the Dealership, Gas Station, Vehicle Shop, and Animal Dealer. There’s also a glimpse of what the animals will look like in the new game.

Waterways:
Check out this preview of some of the rivers, creeks, and streams. The water effects are incredibly realistic and add a beautiful touch to the game’s environment.

Forestry and Foliage:
This clip highlights some nice forestry areas with varying elevations and detailed foliage. The improvements in the game’s graphics are clearly evident.

Planting and Harvesting:
These next clips focus on planting and harvesting on the new map, including a look at some of the new crop types and a peek inside the greenhouse for rice saplings. Could this indicate a new production feature?

  • ISEKI PRJ8D Planter: Watch as it loads rice pallets and plants them.
  • ISEKI HJ6130 Harvester: See it in action harvesting rice.
  • New Holland Harvester: Witness it harvesting long rice from a field.

I also noticed GPS functionality in the lower right-hand corner of these machines, which is a great addition!

Engine Performance:
Remember the screenshot of the fog laying on the river from last week? It was a demonstration of what the new GIANTS Engine 10 can do. These next few clips further showcase the engine’s impressive performance capabilities.
